Over the weekend I tried to get in contact with the gig club a few times, but I couldn't get in touch with them. I'm going to try again this week, since I'd like to take advantage of the sunny weather to possibly get some pictures out on the boats.

I've been looking at the work of Richard Avedon and Tyler Hicks. I really like their work for different reasons, but I'd like to incorporate the styles of both into my own work.

Project change

Last week I decided to change my project to a photography based project focusing on the Gig Rowing club in the local area. It will be based around the relationship spoken words have with still images.

Today I did some planning about what I'll be doing for my project, as well as borrowing a voice recorder to record some of the stories.
